Tribal Health Transformation Partnership Launched by Applichat Labs and Cayuse Companies

November 18, 2025 · 1 min read · Applichat Labs

Applichat Labs, in partnership with Cayuse Health and Cayuse Native Solutions, has launched the Tribal Health Transformation Partnership, a collaborative initiative supporting Tribal Nations preparing for and implementing programs funded through the federal Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP).

The RHTP represents a $50 billion, five-year federal investment focused on strengthening rural and Tribal health systems through expanded access to care, workforce development, public health initiatives, and technology modernization.

Cayuse Health is a tribally owned enterprise of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR), providing professional health, medical, and program management services to Tribal, federal, and state agencies. Cayuse Native Solutions, the partnership leader, is staffed by Tribal citizens who live and work in Tribal communities and specialize in culturally grounded digital services, outreach, procurement support, and sovereignty-aligned program design.

Debra Crosswell, Executive Director of Cayuse Native Solutions, shared:

The Rural Health Transformation Program presents a rare opportunity for Tribal Nations to shape healthcare systems that truly reflect their communities, values, and priorities. This partnership is about meeting that moment with the right support, so Tribes can pursue transformational funding while protecting sovereignty, strengthening long-term capacity, and delivering care in ways that are culturally grounded and sustainable.

The Tribal Health Transformation Partnership brings together this Tribal-led expertise with Applichat Labs’ strengths in workforce strategy, recruitment, public health communications, telehealth, and performance tracking across rural and Tribal-serving systems.

Together, the partners support Tribal health organizations from early planning and program design through application, implementation, and sustainability — with a focus on long-term, culturally grounded health system transformation rather than short-term projects.
